What is All Pakistan Tech & Art Fest'14 ?

“All Pakistan Tech & Art Fest” is a national event in which competitions of technology, arts and literature are hosted at the university campus along with seminar and workshops for 3-days. ACM chapters from all over Pakistan participate in it. Over 18 competitions and 4 workshops give students a medium to enjoy and showcase their abilities to full extent. This time our chapter aims at taking this event to an exalted level to facilitate the new generation who is willing to use their talent at peak of their ability. This time we are going to invite more than 100 universities around the country, which will be uniting more than 600 Students. This is a unique event being one of its kinds in the history of Computing and Arts in Pakistan. All Pakistan Teach & Art Fest is undoubtedly becoming a trademark event for Government College University, Lahore. There has been no event like this before in the history of GCU.

Rules and Regulations

Following Terms and Conditions are to be followed:

1. Accommodation would only be provided to participants from outside Lahore and only to those who will have NOCs from universities.

2. To avail the facility of Accommodation team have to participate in at least 4 events.

3. Participants would be accommodated according to their schedule of event.

4. The participants of the Project Development are to submit their Projects to TECH & ARTS FEST team three days before the day of competition.

5. The participants would be provided with canvases, sheets and card boards for the events of calligraphy, painting, sketching and respectively and are requested to bring their own colors and brushes.

6. The decision of the judges shall be termed final.

7. The TECH & ARTS FEST’14 organizing committee has the right to disqualify any participating team if they don’t follow the rules and guidelines.

8. All the registered participants have to confirm their arrival five days before the inauguration ceremony on April 5, 2014.Participants from outside Lahore shall register themselves at the registration desk. Registration fee will be received at the day of opening ceremony at registration booths.

9. All those who have participated through online registration will receive their cards ledges and masses from the registration desks

10. No refund of registration fee will be provided to any participant, for whatever the case may be.

GCU ACM Student Chapter was established in 2007. Since then the chapter has been working hard to advance the science & art of information processing and providing services for the professional development of students and polishing their technical and administrative skills. The chapter has always served as a training ground for members who wish to become acquainted with those technological trends that are not taught in academics. It also provides opportunities to its members to get involved in the management of the activities organized by the chapter. GCU ACM Chapter has become an essential part of all kinds of programming, software, gaming and quiz competitions organized in GCU. Apart from these major annual events, GCU-ACM frequently organizes various programming, software, quiz and gaming competitions, short courses for the students of the university throughout the year and student counseling . Furthermore, the Chapter is also responsible for sponsoring and organizing all student trips to other educational institutions in the country, making it very popular amongst the faculty and students.
